Alike Goliath , you do have the authority ( in Christ and because of Christ  ) to cancel,  challenge any  lying tongues that raises itself against you  , generational curses that afflict or hold  your family in bondage whilst    rebuking  manifestation of  unholy spirits  that may be at the root cause of your current situation.  Paul clearly discerned the spiritual realms by describing to the church in Ephesus " For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places" Ephesians 6:12
